Cooking with Vincent Price

Vincent Price was an icon in the 60/70's with a swarm of horror movies.  But, he also contributed to the culinary world with cookbooks and cooking LP's - none of which I have.  However I do have a small collection of MP3 files (included here).

So, this is a plea for help.  Pretty well much after anything and everything from the guy.

Cochise - Self Titled

When in doubt - Cheesecake is the go.  Double up with a gatefold sleeve and eveything will be ... double good.  Well, maybe!

That's one helluva mountain to climb (with double peaks).

Coyote McCloud (featuring Clara Peller) - Where's The Beef?

It's funny but not all that funny.  Novelty singles have their appeal but the effect is not long lasting (possibly).

Carte Blanche - Get Up, Get On Your Feet 12''

Cheesecake cover from 1979.  Don't ask me what the music is like.

Chris Waxman - Organ-ized

This is one of those albums where the cover and contents are equally great.  Tiny women dancing on the keyboard renders this W&W, but really it's being blogged here so that you can bounce around to the music.

Pastor BH Clendennen - One Nation Under God

They don't make records like this anymore!  Whatever you do, don't get this confused with the album "One Nation Under A Groove".

Benny Hill - The Best Of

Everyone has a soft spot for Benny.  Completely politically incorrect, he broke all the rules in the book.  His hit "Ernie" was irresistible, and this collection has the same impact.  How can you pass up an album cover like this with a Beatles theme!  Pure Gold.

Australian Hi-Fi Stereo Check-Out Record

How is your stereo working?  This LP will solve all your problems.  Alternatively, listen to different music.  Change what you listen to.  Get a music transplant if your taste is, well ... crap.

America: The Last Crossroads

Will you like this?  Hmmm, let me think .... OK, that took 0.2 sec.  You'll love it (guaranteed).  Suitably W&W as we negotiate our way through the Bill Of Rights, courtesy of Dr Warren Carroll.

Wicked Lady - The Axeman Cometh

Wicked indeed.  I like these ye olde style album covers.  Wicked Lady seem to specialise in this style - good for them - other album covers are also included here.

On further research, there seems to be another band with the same name.  I have included their album as the last image.  Ain't it a beaut.  The only problem is, I don't have it.  Obviously it's a major WANT.  Please help.

We're The Banana Splits

Admit it, you've been waiting for this.  Why has it taken so long.  Contains The Tr-La-La song (of course).  Irresistable.

Attila - Rolling Thunder

One of those armageddon covers where the band warn all of us that the world is ending soon.  Then they appear on the back cover with big hair and flexed muscles.  My my, yew guyz look gweat.

Bacharach Baroque - The 18th Century Corporation

Sublime.  This album has other covers - none as good as this.  In 1969 it was superb, now it surpasses sublime.

AA Allen - Crying Demons, Crying Demons, Crying Demons

Apparently these are recordings of demons speaking through people who are possessed by them.  Or so the cover sez.  Well ... I dunno.  Make up your own mind on this one but it's a favourite of mine.

Slugfuckers - Cacophony (1979-81)

This is a double CD reissue of their total output and includes their ultra hard to get LP 'Transformational Salt'.  Great name!  Hail from Australia and could be termed avant-guard or experimental.  These tags ring alarm bells with me as it often translates to crap.  In this case though, I like the band and enjoy their W&W nature.  Also blogged on Mr Wired and Wasted.
